Learned Advocate for Petitioner tendered across the bar a photocopy of the communication issued by Senior Inspector of Police, Dharavi Police Station to the Petitioner. It is stated therein that in furtherance of letter dated 7th October 2023 issued by the Petitioner, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-V had given audience to the representatives of Petitioner and discussed the issue involved therein. 2.

In view thereof, present petition seeking permission for a public rally today between 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., does not survive. Even otherwise the Petitioner has not questioned the promulgation of 1/ 2

In view thereof, present petition as of today does not survive and is accordingly disposed off.

It is to be noted here that, the Petitioner will be at liberty to file a fresh application before the Competent Authority, seeking permission to hold a peaceful rally in support of the demands of the persons being represented by the Petitioner.
