The prayer in this application is as under :

"a) Superintendent of Police, CBI ACB Mumbai may kindly be directed to deposit the amount of Rs. 1,99,958/- with the court and kindly be proceeded towards the fine amount impose on applicant."

901.appa1419.15.sxw The learned Counsel appearing for CBI has filed an affidavit and has specifically contended - "That CBI is in the process of encashing the said Bank Fixed Deposit and depositing the amount of Rs. 1,99,950/- with Registrar, Bombay City Sessions Court and the amount would be appropriated to the amount of fine imposed upon the applicant."

In view of this admission by the C.B.I., prayer in the application becomes infructuous. Hence, the application stands disposed of accordingly.
