This is an application u/s 438 of Cr.P.C seeking transit anticipatory bail for a temporary period with a view to approach the competent Court for seeking appropriate reliefs. The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with CR No.201 of 2017 and CR No.193 of 2017 registered with Pattukottai Police Station, District Tanjavur in Tamilnadu State for offences u/s.403, 406, 420, 120B of IPC.

Learned counsel for applicant submitted that the applicant is presently residing at village Padali, Tal.Tasgaon. The matter relates to transaction of gold ornaments. The applicant has been falsely implicated and even the applicant had made complaint to local police station about harassment meted out to him. It is submitted that the applicant is apprehending arrest as his relatives residing within the jurisdiction of police station, are being harassed and were informed that the applicant is required to be arrested. 2 of 2 923.ABA.2323.2019.doc that with a view to approach appropriate Court, the applicant needs protection. The offences were registered in the year 2017. It is, however, contended that the applicant learnt about the same only recently.

Considering the aforesaid circumstances, without going into the merits, for temporary period the applicant can be granted relief with a view to approach appropriate Court. Hence, I pass following order :

ORDER

(i) In the event of arrest of applicant in connection with CR No.193 of 2017 and CR No.203 of 2017 registered with Pattukotai Police Station, Dist.Tanjavur in Tamilnadu State, the applicant be released on bail on his executing PR bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- in each case;

(ii) This protection is granted for a period of three weeks with a view to enable the applicant to approach appropriate Court seeking appropriate reliefs;

(iii) Criminal Anticipatory Bail Application No.2323 of 2019 stands disposed of.
