The grievance raised by the petitioner in this writ petition was that the petitioner's admission was not approved despite the fact that he was possessing a caste validity certificate.

Today, on instructions, the learned AGP has tendered a copy of the communication dated 8th January 2024 issued by the Admission Regulatory Authority. The same is taken on record and marked "A" for identification. In the said communication, the Secretary of the said Authority has stated that the admission of the petitioner has now been regularized.

In view of the aforesaid, the purpose of filing the writ petition is served. It is accordingly disposed of by directing the respondent no.5College to take further steps in accordance with the aforesaid communication dated 8th January 2024.
