This Application is preferred by the claimant for condonation of 523 days delay in filing the First Appeal challenging the award dated 29/03/2011 passed by the Commissioner for Workmen's Compensation, Mumbai in Application (WCA) 938/B-177/2006.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the Applicant and the averments made in the Application, I am satisfied that the Applicant has made out a case for allowing Basavraj G Patil 1/2

Hence, the following order:

a) Civil Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) which read thus:

a) That the delay of 523 days in filing the appeal be condoned.

b) Civil application stands disposed off accordingly.
