Rule, returnable forthwith. Heard finally by consent of parties.

We are inclined to dispose of the present writ petition by directing Respondent No.2- Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the Petitioner pending since 14/11/2013. A statement is also made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner's father and three uncles have already been granted similar Caste Certificates. Therefore, the following order: i) The Petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause(a).

rsk WP-11474-15 ii) Respondent No.2 -Caste Scrutiny Committee is directed to decide the caste claim as early as possible, preferably within nine months.

iii) Respondent No.4 not to take coercive steps against the Petitioner pending the decision of the Caste Scrutiny Committee. It is made clear that if any order goes against the Petitioner, it shall not be implemented for a period of 4 weeks after the date of communication to the Petitioner.

iv) The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. All points are kept open.

v) Rule is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
