This is an application for anticipatory bail in connection with CR No.280 of 2016. The offence was registered with Khar Police Station vide FIR dated 8th June 2016 under Sections 141, 143, 145, 147, 149, 332 and 353 of Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case is that action of demolition of structures by following due process of law was being undertaken and was in progress and at that time the residents had opposed the said move and had obstructed the policemen and others in discharge of their duties. Pursuant to registration of FIR, the investigation was conducted and notice was issued to the accused that charge sheet would be filed against them before the concerned Court. The applicants were the persons who were amongst the mob who had allegedly obstructed the public servants in carrying out their duties. The report submitted by the police station indicate that they have no objection for allowing this application.

Taking into consideration aforesaid facts, this application deserves to be allowed. Hence, I pass following order :

ORDER

(i) In the event of arrest of applicants in connection with CR No.280 of 2016 registered with Khar Police Station, the applicants be released on bail on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- each with one or more sureties in the like amount; (ii) The applicants shall not tamper with evidence; (iii) The applicants are permitted to furnish cash security in the sum of Rs.15,000/- each for a period of four weeks; (iv) Criminal Anticipatory Bail Application No.2116 of 2018 is disposed off.
