Mr. Ujjwal Gandhi for the Applicant Ms. Veera Shinde, A.P.P for the Respondent-State CORAM : REVATI MOHITE DERE, J.

THURSDAY, 1 st AUGUST 2019 P.C. :

At the outset, learned A.P.P, on instructions, makes a statement that trial has commenced and till date, nine witnesses have been examined and that about 30 more witnesses are to be examined. Since the trial has commenced and nine witnesses have been examined, it would not be appropriate to consider the application of the applicant for bail. Accordingly, the application is rejected. However, the trial is expedited.

It is made clear that this application has not been heard on merits.
