This is an application for suspension of sentence and releasing both applicants/revision petitioners on bail during pendency of the revision petition.

Heard the learned Advocate appearing for the applicants/revision petitioners. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed the application by contending that both Courts below have concurrently held that the applicants have committed offence punishable under Sections 353, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

(914)APPRNo.5682017 Both applicants were on bail during pendency of the trial as well as during pendency of the appeal. By the separate Order, the Revision Application is admitted for final hearing. In this view of the mater, considering the short sentence imposed on the applicants, the following Order :

(i) The substantive sentence of imprisonment imposed on the applicants is suspended and the applicants are hereby directed to be released on bail on their executing P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- each and on furnishing surety in the like amount by each of them during pendency of the instant revision petition.

(ii) The application stands disposed of.
