The learned A.G.P on instructions states that the proposal dated 31st December, 2013 (Exhibit B to the petition) will be submitted to the Hon'ble Minister of Revenue Department for appropriate decision. 2.

This Court has already issued directions to the State Government to dispose of the proposals received for grant of prior approval under clause (b) of Sub-Section (1) of Section 36A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of proposals. However, in this case, the proposal has been kept pending for inordinately long time. Hence, we pass the following order : SQ Pathan 1/2

ORDER

(i) We direct the State to take appropriate decision on the proposal dated 31st December, 2013 (Exhibit `B' to the Petition) within a period of two months from today. No extension shall be granted. (ii) Decision of the State Government shall be forthwith communicated to the District Collector of Nasik. (iii) The District Collector shall take appropriate decision on the pending application of the petitioner within a period of for months from the date of which decision of the State Government is communicated to him.

(iv) Petition is disposed of on the above terms.

(v) All contentions on merits are kept open.
