Heard. Petition is filed for transfer of investigation of CR. No. 000 of 2017 registered with Mulund Police Station at the instance of the Petitioner for the offence punishable under section 377, 498A, 406 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 to another agency in the State of Maharashtra.

The learned APP, having taken instructions from the officer concerned, states that the FIR discloses that offence alleged in the FIR is committed within the jurisdiction of Chandkheda Police Station, Ahmedabad. Despite that the Petitioner gave complaint to Mulund Police Station. Initially, it was registered with Zero Number and thereafter it was transferred to Chandkheda Police Station. In support of her submission, learned APP placed on record report dated patilsr 1 / 2

8th December 2017 made by the Mulund Police Station, Mumbai. 3.

Be that as it may, we have also gone through the FIR. The offences are alleged to be committed within the jurisdiction of Chandkheda Police Station, Ahmedabad. The subject FIR is, therefore, rightly transferred to Chandkheda Police Station. In that view of the matter, we see no reason to entertain this writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed.
