The applicants have preferred these applications through jail. The grievance of the applicants is that the charge pertaining Sessions Case No.370/2014 in CR No.I79/2014 registered with Mumbra Police Station, though was framed 11 months prior to 23.10.2015 but the trial did not proceed.
In the circumstances, the applicants prayed that as there is delay in conducting the said Sessions Case Mo.370/2014, they may be released on bail. The learned APP has

2/2 BA-2277-2278-15 produced a report dated 21.12.2015 submitted by the Police Sub Inspector attached to Mumbra Police Station stating that as of today two witnesses have been examined in the said Sessions Case No.370/2014. That, the witness summons to three more witnesses have already been issued. She further submitted that the prosecution is intending to examine approximately 17 more witnesses.
2) In view of the above, the Learned trial court having charge of sessions case No.370/2014 is hereby directed to make an endevour to conclude the Sessions case No.370/2014 arising out of CR No.I-79/2014 registered with Mumbra Police Station within a period of one year from today.
3) The applications are allowed in the aforesaid terms.
4) The registry is hereby directed to communicate this order to the applicants who are in Taloja Jail, Navi Mumbai.
