1) The petitioner claims to be a social worker. He has certain grievance regarding supply of water to respondent no.7 ISI (Bar) Company. It is claimed that he addressed a representation to the Chief Officer of Khopoli Nagar Parishad on 27th August, 2012 raising his grievance. The petitioner's grievance is that the respondent is extracting water from Patalganga River, Khopoli illegally. It is further grievance of the petitioner that respondent No.7 is committing theft of electricity.

2) This petition was filed in the year 2014. Till this date none of the contesting respondent has preferred to file any reply. Learned

2 /2 8-wp-1759-14.doc Counsel appearing for Respondent No.1 and Respondent No.7 even today seek further adjournment for taking instructions. 3) In fact, taking into consideration the number of adjournments granted and the time consumed, we are not inclined to grant any further adjournment in the matter.

4) Without expressing any opinion on the grievances and allegations made by the petitioner against respondent no.7, we direct the Chief Officer, Nagar Parishad, Khopoli and respondent no.1 to look into the grievances of the petitioner and after hearing the necessary parties to initiate appropriate proceedings. 5) Exhibit "A" is the copy of the agreement entered into between the Executive Engineer Raigad Irrigation Division Raigad and Respondent No.7. The petitioner has certain grievance regarding the execution of this agreement for the duration commencing from 1/1/1998 to 31/7/2016. The petitioner is entitled to submit appropriate representation to the Executive Engineer, Raigad Irrigation Division, Kolad, District Raigad in this regard. All issues on merits are kept open.
