The learned APP submits that the charge is already framed and Sessions Case is listed tomorrow for recording of evidence. In the circumstances, especially having regard to the fact that the applicant has been in custody for five years, it may be expedient to request the learned Sessions Judge seized with Sessions Case No.375 of 2019 arising out of CR 1/2

31-BA3224-2023.DOC No.309 of 2018, to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of nine months from today.
