The Petitioners claims that the Petitioner No. 1's father was serving as "Peon" in the school running by Petitioner No. 2. He died on 28th June, 2012. Seeking compassionate appointment at his place, the Petitioner had submitted an application on 11th July, 2012 before the Petitioner No. 2. The grievance of the Petitioner is that in pursuance to his application though he is appointed on 4th June, 2014 on the post of "Peon" on compassionate basis but till date his appointment is not approved by the second Respondent though the proposal for approval is submitted on 11th September, 2014 (Exhibit "J").

A prayer has been to dispose of this Petition by directing Vishal Parekar 1/2

21-wp-635-2018.doc the Respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the Petitioner No. 1's claim for grant approval for appointment on the post of "Peon" on compassionate basis.

Having regard to the aforesaid, without commenting upon the merits of the matter and the Petitioners' entitlement, we dispose of this Petition by directing the Respondent No. 2 to consider and take appropriate decision on the proposal for approval of Petitioner No. 1's appointment on the compassionate basis which is pending since 11th September, 2014, as expeditiously as possible, but in any case not later than three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, the Petition is disposed of. 5.
