The above Civil Application has been filed seeking extension of time to deposit the amount as directed by the order dated 17-6-2016 passed by a Learned Single Judge of this Court. By the said order, the ApplicantMSEDCL was directed to deposit the amount within 6 weeks of the said date. On account of the fact that the time to deposit the amount has expired that the instant Civil Application has been filed. None appears for the Respondent No.1 though served. The Learned Counsel for the Applicant states that the affidavit of service would be filed within one week. In view of the fact that the amount is required to be deposited which may ultimately enure to the benefit of the Respondent No.1. The Civil Application is allowed. Time to deposit the amount is accordingly extended by mmj

On deposit of the said amount the same to be invested in a fixed deposit of a Nationalised Bank initially for a period of one year to be renewed thereafter for such period as deemed appropriate.
