The case of the petitioner is that his matter for validation of his caste certificate which is pending before the first defendant District Caste Scrutiny committee Kolhapur has been reserved for order on 23/4/2018 but till date the decision has not been taken by the Committee.

Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as also learned AGP, we dispose of this petition by directing the first respondent Committee to consider nilegaonkar 1/2

901-wp-11849.2018.doc and take appropriate decision on the petitioner's matter for validation of his caste certificate within one week as according to the petitioner, the matter has already been closed on 23/4/2018 for passing final order.
