By order dated 24th August, 2017 the Applicants were ordered to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.50,000/- each with one or two sureties to the like amount to the satisfaction of the Special Judge (POCSO Act), Thane, with further direction to deposit 50% of compensation within six weeks, before the Special Court, Thane.

The learned counsel for the Applicants submits that the Applicants were unable to deposit amount of 50% of compensation within six weeks as they took considerable time to arrange the money. 4.

In the light of above, time to deposit 50% of compensation is extended by a period of two weeks.

The learned counsel for the Applicants further submits that the Applicant No.1 is unable to furnish surety. She submits that the Applicant No.1 be released on cash bail and that the Applicant No.1 is ready to deposit Rs.75,000/- before the Special Judge (POCSO Act), Thane.

Considering the fact that the Applicant No.1 has not been able to furnish surety and she is lodged in the prison on account of the said reasons, condition No.(iii) in paragraph No.12 of the order dated 24th August, 2017 is modified to the extent that Applicant No.1 is ordered to be released on bail on furnishing cash bail to the tune of Rs.75,000/-. She shall deposit the said amount of Rs.75,000/- before the Special Judge (POCSO Act), at Thane.
