By this petition, petitioner is challenging orders by which he is externed for a period of one year from Mumbai Suburbs and Thane District passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-I Vashi, Navi Mumbai on 9.4.2014 and confirmed by Principal Secretary (Appeal & Security) by order dated 22.9.2014 passed in Appeal No.89 of 2014. Perusal of the aforesaid orders discloses that the Show Shivgan 1/2
2-wp-4651-14 Cause Notice in terms of provisions of Section 59 of the Bombay Police Act, 1951 was given to the petitioner on 25.2.2014 however, he did not file reply to it. Thereafter, the orders impugned in this petition came to be passed which disclose that the petitioner is engaged in the commission of offences involving force or violence. These orders further disclose that the witnesses are not willing to come forward to give evidence against the petitioner by reason of apprehension on their part as regards the safety of their persons.
We , therefore, do not find any merit in the above petition and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
