The only relief sought by the petitioner is a direction to the respondent no. 1/Education Officer to decide the proposal of the petitioner for the appointment on the post of Headmaster within a time frame, as the petitioner is due to retire in March, 2015. It is stated that though the proposal of the petitioner was sent to the Education officer by the management on 2nd May, 2014, the same is not decided till date. Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous, we dispose of the Writ Petition with the direction to the respondent no. 1 to decide the proposal of the petitioner as early as possible and positively within a period of three weeks.

Order accordingly. No costs.
