The challenge in this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is to the order of suspension of the petitioners by order dated 30th July, 2018. In the First Information Report registered at Mhasala Police Station, District-Raigad for the offences punishable under Sections

Rane 2/2 WP(ST)--29742-2018 26.11.2018 302 read with Section 120B read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, the petitioners have been shown as the accused.

A reasonable time will have to be granted for completing the disciplinary inquiry against the petitioners. Therefore, at this stage, no interference is called for. If disciplinary enquiry is not initiated or is not completed within a reasonable time, we grant liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh proceeding for challenging the order of suspension.

As regards the grievance in respect of the Headquarters fixed under the impugned order of suspension, it is for the petitioners to make appropriate representation before the authorities. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
