The grievance of the petitioner is that in-spite of there being an order dated 04/09/2017 passed in Writ Petition no. 9742 of 2017, the Caste Scrutiny Committee has not decided the petitioner's caste validity claim within the time fixed in the said order which was of two months.

In view of the aforesaid statement, we dispose of the petition. Needless to say that in case the Caste Scrutiny Committee fails to decide the caste validity claim of the petitioner within the aforesaid time, the matter will be viewed seriously. Till the petitioner's caste validity claim is decided, no coercive steps be taken against the petitioner in pursuance to the letter dated 17/07/2017 issued by respondent no. 3.
