Learned APP points out that there are four cases against the prisoner and as such the authorities are taking appropriate precautions. Whenever any person visits as relative, appropriate verification is done and thereafter only the visit is allowed. 2.
The nominal roll produced by the learned APP is taken on record as Exh. "A".

The grievance of the petitioner is about not permitting his sister of maternal side namely Priti Jadhav to meet him. The letter mentions that for over 3 years she was permitted to see him in jail. However, after the officer changed, she has not been allowed.

If this be true, there has to be some reason for discontinuing the practice which was going on. We therefore, direct the respondents to apply mind and find out why they have altered the practice. This exercise shall be completed within eight weeks from today. If they find that said Priti Jadhav can be permitted to see the prisoner, they shall accordingly permit her to visit him.

With these directions, we partly allow and dispose of the writ petition.
