After hearing the matter for some time, when the court was not inclined to grant bail, the learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw this application.

In view of the above submission, the applicant is allowed to withdraw the application. It is submitted that the applicant is aged 65 years and he is in custody from 20.12.2016. It is, therefore, prayed that the trial may be expedited.

Considering the submission and more particularly, in view of the fact that the applicant is a senior citizen and he Borey 1/2
