We have looked into the letter sent by the prisoner and advocate appointed for her. Perused the report sent by the Superintendent, Yerawada Central Prison to the Registrar of this court dated 3/12/2019. A copy of the report is retained on record as Exh."A".

The grievance made by the prisoner is on account of overcrowding and unhygienic conditions. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that these problems need to be attended to and situation needs to be improved.

In this situation, we direct the State Government to verify the position and to take necessary steps for improving the nilegaonkar 1/2

With these directions, we dispose of the petition. 5.
