The present Writ Petition is filed inter alia for directing Respondent No. 1 to refer the cases of the Petitioner to Respondent No. 4 for determination of compensation in terms of section 33(3) of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1961. The further direction sought is that Respondent No. 4 decide the cases of the Petitioner for determination of compensation to be paid for acquisition of the lands of the Petitioners under Section 33(4) of the said Act. 13.WP-15201-2022.doc the Petitioners, this relief is necessitated because of the directions given by this Court vide its order dated 25th March, 2022 passed in Writ Petition No. 6526 of 2021.

The Learned Government pleader as well as the learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the MIDC have brought to the attention of the Court that the cases of the Petitioner have in fact been referred by Respondent No. 1 to Respondent No. 4 by Government Resolution (GR) dated 25th May, 2023. A copy of the said GR is taken on record and marked "X" for identification.
