The applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail in Crime No. 239 of 2016 for an offence punishable under Sections 465, 467, 468, 471 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

The applicant appears to be a student with no criminal antecedents. The admission of the applicant has already been cancelled.

The applicant has appeared before the Investigating Officer, who has already recorded the statement of the applicant. 5.

Looking to the nature of the allegations against the

ssk 2/2 Cri. ABA 2017/16-23/11/16 applicant and having regard to the fact that the applicant is available for investigation and for the purpose of prosecution, the custodial interrogation is reported to be not required. 6.

Hence, the following order :

(i) In the event of arrest in Crime No.239 of 2016 registered with Marine Drive Police Station, Mumbai, applicant be released on furnishing P. R. Bond of Rs.1,00,000/- with one or two solvent local sureties in the like amount.

(ii) The applicant shall attend police station as and when called.
