By this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the final voters list dated 26th October 2017 and has sought for the preparation of a fresh list of voters for the elections to the municipal council.

It appears on hearing the learned counsel for the parties that the election programme is already declared. It is well settled that it would not be proper for the High Court to interfere with the election process at an interlocutory stage. Since the election programme is already declared, it would not be proper to entertain the writ petition.
