The order impugned is one dated 24-11-2014 passed by the Learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Pune, which is trying the Election Petition in question. Having regard to the nature of the direction to be issued, no notice is required to be issued to the Respondents. The Learned Counsel for the Petitioner on instructions states that the Petitioner would be satisfied if the cross-examination of the Petitioner is directed to be completed within a particular time frame since though the order has been passed on 24-11-2014, the matter has not progressed since then. The Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Election Petition is to appear before the Learned Judge trying the same tomorrow i.e. 21-4-2015. The cross-examination of the Petitioner to accordingly be completed within 4 weeks of 21-4-2015. The Learned Judge to see to it that no unnecessary adjournments are granted to the parties.
