CORAM : S. S. SHINDE & MILIND N. JADHAV, JJ.

DATE : 8th JUNE, 2022.

P.C.:

1.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of the prayer of the petitioner to release on death parole, this petition is filed. 2.

We have carefully perused the letter written by Superintendent Nashik Road Central Prison, Nashik on 09.07.2018. It appears that the petitioner did not apply for remission and within 10 days from the death of his father. In that view of the matter his prayer for release on death parole was not considered. In the first place, we do not find any fault with the view Ethape D.A.

2/2 54-WP-4633-2018.doc taken by the authority and secondly, grievance of the petitioner would not survive as on today. In that view of the matter, writ petition stands disposed of.

3.

In view of the disposal of the writ petition, the Interim Application No. 47 of 2020 does not survive and the same to stand disposed of accordingly.
