The applicant is in custody for almost 5 years and 9 months. By order dated 26/09/2022, this Court had requested the trial Court to expedite the trial and to complete the same on or before 31/03/2023. I am informed that 4 witnesses have already been examined and 4 witnesses are remained to be examined.

Taking an overall view of the matter, the trial Court is requested to hear the matter on day to day basis if it considers so necessary. I have no manner of doubt that the time limit prescribed by this Court to complete the trial on 1/2
