The learned counsel for the Petitioner at the outset submitted that the Petitioner would be satisfied if the directions are given to the appellate authority to dispose of their appeal filed under section 52(2) of the Goa, Daman and Diu Town and Country Planning Act, 1974. Mr. Deshmukh, the learned counsel for the Respondent has no objection if such directions are issued.

In the light of above, we deem it convenient to dispose of this writ petition by directing the appellate authority, namely, the Goa, Daman and Diu Town and Planning Board to dispose of the Petitioners' appeal [copy of which is annexed at Exhibit-"FF" to the petition] filed under section 52(2) of the said Act as expeditiously as possible and preferably within the period of six weeks from the date of patilsr 1 / 2 Ramchandra Patil Date: 2018.08.03 11:31:02 +0530 Sachin Ramchandra Patil

receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. 3.

It is clarified that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and all points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open.
