By this petition preferred by the petitioner through jail, the petitioner seeks reduction of his punishment imposed by the Prison Administration for his late return from Parole Leave. 2.

Ms. Gonsalves, learned Counsel for the petitioner has tendered a letter of the petitioner dated 9th April, 2024. A copy of the Wakodikar 1/2

901. WP 148-2024.doc said letter is taken on record. In the said letter, it is stated that he has been released by the jail authorities after completion of his sentence on 19th March, 2024 and as such, seeks withdrawal of the petition filed by him.
