Mr.Vanarse appearing for Respondent No.1 undertakes to file Vakalatnama within a week. We are not inclined to grant 12 weeks because it is almost four months since the application was filed and Respondent No.1 had enough time to dispose the application. We have to note that in view of the inaction on the part of Respondent No.1, a citizen of this country had to move this Court thereby adding to the already overburdened docket of the Court.
Be that as it may, we direct Respondent No.1 to dispose the representation dated 13th October 2022 on or before 4th March 2023. Respondent No.1 who is Principal Secretary, Industry, Energy and Labour Department shall give a personal hearing to Petitioner at 11:00 a.m. on 22nd February 2023. Mr.Jahagirdar states Petitioner shall remain present either in person or through an authorized representative/Advocate. A reasoned order will have to be passed dealing with all submissions of Petitioner. The order, if it is in Marathi language, shall also be accompanied with the English transaction thereof. At the same time, we clarify that we have not made any observations on the merits of the Petition. Petition dismissed. No order as to costs.
