Heard. The relief sought by this PIL is as under : "b) By issuing a proper writ, order or direction under Article 226 of Constitution of India and 482 of the Cr.P.C., Respondent No. 5 be directed to enquiry into the complaint of the Petitioner and report dated 22/1/2018 of the Addl. Supt. Of Police Vasai and further be directed to registration of a criminal offence under Anti Corruption Act and I.P.C. and take all such necessary steps that may be necessary for ensuring a proper investigation including monitoring the same."

Mr. Yagnik, the learned APP for the Respondent-State has placed on record communication dated 15th February 2020 by the Under Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra in Public Works Department. By the said communication, permission is given for an open enquiry under section 17(A) of the Prevention patilsr 1 / 2

of Corruption Act, 1988 against concerned ofÏcers. This communication is taken on record. Statement is also made that open enquiry will be made against all concerned and appropriate action in accordance with law will be taken against them. 3.

In the light of above communication and statement, grievance raised in the PIL no more survives. Hence, PIL is disposed of.
