} Respondents Mr. Sagar P. Batavia for the applicant.

CORAM :- S. C. DHARMADHIKARI & B. P. COLABAWALLA, JJ.
DATED :- FEBRUARY 3, 2017 P.C. :- 1.
Having heard both sides and finding that there is sufficient cause shown for non removal of the office objections, we set aside the conditional order. We restore the writ petition to the file of this court.
2.
We had clarified on the earlier occasion and even today that we will hear the petition for admission forthwith. Accordingly, we have heard the petitioner's advocate.
3.
The petitioner has filed the writ petition in this court seeking to rely on a document styled as "interview letter" inviting J.V.Salunke,PA
903-903-CAW.1053.2015.doc him to attend an interview on 1st October, 2004. That interview letter is dated 9th August, 2004. The petitioner claims to be a project affected person and his lands were acquired for the project of Hatnoor Dam in Jalgaon District in July, 2000. The present petition is filed on 5th May, 2011. That was not pursued with the required degree of promptness. The petitioner has approached this court after 10 years and more of the acquisition and after nearly seven years of issuing and receipt of an interview/call letter. In these circumstances, we do not think that in writ jurisdiction we can assist a party like the petitioner. The writ petition is devoid of merits and it is dismissed. (B.P.COLABAWALLA, J.)
