The Petition is filed in the year 2022 for simplicitor direction to Pune Municipal Corporation to initiate the process of promotion. The learned counsel for the Corporation informs that the process is already initiated. The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that before the conclusion of the process, the State has by policy decision changed quota in service candidate by amending the Rules. If that be so, it is a different cause of action. Leaving all contentions open in case, the Petitioner if so inclined, to raise challenge in substantial Petition.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
