This is an application for modification of order dated 5th October 2018 passed by this Court in Criminal Bail Application No.1692 of 2018. The applicant was directed to be released on bail in connection with CR No.I-229 of 2015 registered with Ulhas Nagar Police Station on furnishing PR bond in sum of Rs.50,000 with one or more local solvent sureties in the like amount. Learned counsel for applicant submits that the applicant is the resident of Sangli and he is not in a position to arrange local solvent surety. The applicant's father is willing to stand surety to the applicant. It is therefore submitted that the word "local" appearing in condition No.(ii) of operative part of order dated 5th October 2018 may be relaxed and the applicant be permitted to furnish PR bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or more solvent sureties in the like amount. In the aforesaid circumstances, clause (ii) of the operative part of the order dated 5th October 2018 passed in Bail Application No.1692 of 2018 is modified and it is directed that the applicant be released on bail in connection with CR No.I-229 of 2015 registered with Ulhas Nagar Police Station, on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or more solvent sureties in the like amount. No other correction/modification is sought. Rest of the order dated 5th October 2018 remains intact. Criminal Application No.1297 of 2018 stands disposed off.
