1) The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that in pursuance of the statement made by him on 24.1.2015 and 23.12.2015, his client has deposited a sum of Rs. 12,00,000/- with the Registry of this Court. The learned APP, on instructions, submitted that the said statement is correct. She further, on instructions, submitted that custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary.

2) The learned counsel for the respondent No.2, despite his statement recorded in the order dated 23.12.2015 by this Court, opposed the grant of any relief to the applicant. 3) It is needless to mention here that the amount so deposited by the applicant is without prejudice to her rights and contentions to be raised at the time of trial or in any other proceedings. The

2 /2 16-ABA-1789-2015.doc complainant will not be able to receive the said amount either till the trial is over or the proceedings against the applicant are quashed and/or set aside.

4) In view of the above, the interim relief granted by an order dated 24.11.2015 is hereby confirmed.
