Learned counsel for the Applicant states that Applicant instead of pressing the application for pre-arrest bail is making a limited request of granting reasonable time to surrender before the Trial /Remand Court and pray for bail, giving appropriate directions for deciding the said application at the earliest and in the meanwhile continuing the interim protection granted to the Applicant by Court of Sessions.

Request being made to surrender before Trial /Remand Court, which would facilitate earlier completion of investigation, same deserves consideration. Request for protection also deserves consideration.

As informed, the Applicant to surrender before Trial / Remand Court on or before 21.1.2015 till 11.00 a.m. In the meanwhile, the interim protection granted by the Court of Sessions to continue on same terms and conditions till 21.1.2015 till 11.00 a.m. The Applicant not to misuse the protection granted by this order for fleeing away or for committing any further offences. In event of the Applicant preferring an application for bail the Trial Court to decide the same in accordance with the law at the earliest and subject to twenty four hours advance notice being served upon the other side with express stipulation regarding the date and time of surrender.
