Both counsel state that the dispute has been settled amicably. The basis of the settlement is the consent terms filed in Writ Petition 7861 of 2013 which was arrived at as between respondent and General Employees Association formerly known as Petroleum Employees Union. Today it is submitted that the settlement arrived at is between 22 petitioners, the remaining 5 having withdrawn the petitions pursuant to order dated 21 st January, 2019.

Both counsel state that the terms agreed are identical to the earlier settlement arrived at in Writ Petition No. 7861 of 2013. All the petitioners who have executed consent terms are present as identified by the Advocate for the Respondents. In the circumstances, I pass the following order : (i) There will be an order in terms of the consent terms. (ii) Petition is disposed of in terms of the consent terms. (iii) No order as to costs.
