Learned AGP raises objection that against impugned order dated 17/07/2017, remedy available to the petitioner is to file a Revision Petition before the Hon'ble Minister, Revenue Department, Mantralaya. Faced with this objection, learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw this Petition with liberty to approach the Hon'ble Minister for filing Revision Petition. Learned Counsel also prayed that with a view to enable him to file appropriate application for interim relief along 1/2

948. wp 254.19.doc with Revision Petition, some temporary protection be granted in the interest of justice.

In this view of the matter, Writ Petition is allowed to be withdrawn. Status-quo as of today be maintained by the parties for a period of 6 weeks from today so as to enable the petitioner to file appropriate application for interim relief before Hon'ble Minister along with Revision Petition that may be filed. Needless to mention that if application for interim relief is filed before Hon'ble Minister, the same shall obviously be decided on its own merits expeditiously.
