The petitioner seeks direction against the respondents to decide the validation proceeding. It is contended that the proceeding is pending since 2007. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the vigilance has been conducted. The learned Counsel for the petitioner further makes a statement that the petitioner is also served with the vigilance report.

Issue notice to respondents. The learned AGP waives notice for all respondents.

The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 11th August 2022. The Committee shall thereafter decide the validation proceeding on its own merits in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within four months thereafter.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
