This is an application received through jail. The applicant has prayed that the trial pertaining to the Special Case No.10 of 2015 may be conducted on day to day basis and be concluded as expeditiously as possible. The applicant has also stated that the High Court had on earlier occasion directed that the trial be concluded within a period of one year, however, the same did not proceed.

The learned APP on instructions submitted that there are in all about ten witnesses which the prosecution intends to examine and as of today two witnesses have been examined. The learned APP on instructions submitted that the next date of hearing is 11th February 2016 and as per the prosecution the trial may be concluded within a period of six months. In view of the above, I am of the opinion that no further directions are necessary. The application is accordingly disposed of. (A.S. GADKARI, J.)
