The captioned eight Writ Petitions are disposed of by a singular order because the factual backdrop of all is common. 2.

For the Koyana Hydro Electro Project, in 1961 lands of the

4/5 03 WP-1121.20G (07).odt Petitioners in various Gat numbers in Mouje Kusawade, Taluka Patan, District Satara were acquired. Entitlement under the Maharashtra Project Affected Persons (Rehabilitation) Act, 1999 was considered and vide recommendatory order passed on 05th October, 2019 compensatory lands in Mouje Savleshwar were recommended to be allotted to the Petitioners. 3.

Concededly, on 30th October, 2013 the Petitioners had deposited the occupancy price.

The problem arose on account of the fact that the lands recommended to be allotted to the Petitioners vide order dated 05th October, 2019 were in possession of the third parties. 5.

Prayer made in the Writ Petitions is that since the entitlement of the Petitioners to be allotted compensatory land has been accepted and occupancy price has been received, mandamus be issued to the District Re-Settlement Officer, Solapur to identify lands and allot the same to satisfy the entitlement of the Petitioners.

The pleadings afore-noted in the Writ Petitions have been made good with reference to the Government records and thus we dispose of the Writ Petitions directing the District ReSettlement Officer, Solapur to forthwith identify suitable parcel of

5/5 03 WP-1121.20G (07).odt lands to satisfy the claims of the Petitioners and put the Petitioners in possession of the said lands, simultaneously making entries in the 7/12 extracts recording the allotment to the Petitioners. Needful shall be done within twelve weeks from today.
