The above writ petition seeks quashing of the FIR being FIR No.50 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 474, 447 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. The Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no.2, Mr. Almeida points out that the chargesheet has been

However, no amendment has been carried out in the above Writ Petition, though the chargesheet has been filed as long back as on 2nd February, 2015. The Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Ms. Sahu, on instructions, shows her inability to proceed with the matter in view of the fact that the papers have been lost. Such a request was also made earlier and therefore the petition was adjourned for today. In the light of the fact that the above petition has not been amended, the Learned Counsel for the petitioner, is not in a position to proceed with the matter and also considering the fact that, the chargesheet has already been filed as long back as on 2nd February, 2015, we do not deem it appropriate to further keep the above petition pending. The above writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
