Heard Mr. Sawant, the learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. Yagnik, learned APP for the State.

By an order dated 8th November, 2019 this Court had granted interim relief to the applicant opining prima facie that the relationship was consensual.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the intervening period the applicant and the prosecutrix have solemnized the marriage and the petition bearing No. 333 of 2020 for quashing the frst information report is also fled. 3.

Mr. Yagnik has tendered a report. It indicates that the frst informant did not turn up to record the statement under section 164 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. Secondly, the applicant was arrested and released on bail, pursuant to the order passed Vishal Parekar 1/2

Mr. Yagnik, on instructions, submits that the applicant was arrested and released on bail on 18th March, 2020. The investigation is complete and the investigating offcer is in a position to lodge the chargesheet.

In view of the aforesaid developments in the intervening period, and the order passed by this Court on 8th November, 2019 having been given effect to, the application stands disposed of. 6.

In the event of the fling of the chargesheet, the applicant shall attend the proceeding before the jurisdictional Magistrate/ Court regularly.
