Having heard learned Counsel for petitioner and learned AGP for State, we deem it convenient to dispose of the petition by directing respondent No.5-Education Officer(Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur to dispose of proposal dated 20/07/2014 sent by the Head Master of respondent No.7-High School for individual approval to the petitioner's appointment to the post of Shikshan Sevak (copy of which is annexed at Exh.G page 33) as expeditiously as possible and, in any case, Talwalkar 1/2

40.wp12495.17.doc within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the petition and Respondent No. 5 shall decide the said proposal independently on its own merits and in accordance with law. All points and contentions of respective parties are kept open. In order to enable respondent No. 5 to comply with this order, the Petitioner shall remain present before respondent No. 5 on 2/4/2018 alongwith copy of the said proposal as well as copy of this order.

Till disposal of the said proposal, ad-interim relief granted by this Court vide order dated 23rd November, 2017 shall remain in operation.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of.

All concerned shall act upon the copy of this order duly authenticated by the Registry of this Court.
