Having heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner and learned AGP for the Respondent-State, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing Respondent No.5-Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Sangli to dispose of the proposal dated 2nd August 2017 sent by the Headmaster of Petitioner No.2School for approval to the appointment of Petitioner No.3 in the post of Shikshan Sevak (a copy of which is annexed at Exhibit-F page 30 to the petition) as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and Respondent No.5 shall decide the said proposal of the Petitioners independently, on its own merits and in accordance with law.

In order to enable Respondent No.5 to comply with this order, Petitioner No.3 shall remain present before him along with a copy of the said proposal and a copy of this order on 26th March 2018 at 11.00 a.m.

Till the decision is taken by Respondent No.5 on the Petitioner's aforesaid proposal, the ad-interim relief granted by this Court on 29th November 2017 shall remain in force. 5.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
