Heard Mr. Thomas, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. Yagnik, learned APP for the State.

By an order dated 11th November, 2019 this Court had granted interim relief to the applicant and it was directed that the applicant be released on bail in connection with C.R.No.196 of 2019 for the offences punishable under section 354D, 500, 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and section 67(a) of Information Technology Act, 2000.

Mr. Yagnik has tendered a report submitted by the investigating offcer. It reveals that pursuant to the aforesaid order, the applicant came to be arrested on 7th December, 2020 and was released on bail. Furthermore, it is specifcally recorded that custodial interrogation of the applicant is not warranted. Vishal Parekar 1/2

In view of the aforesaid development in the intervening period and the fact that the interim order passed by this Court on 11th November, 2019 has been given effect to, the application stands disposed of.

Mr. Yagnik submits that the applicant be directed not to use the objectionable photographs which were allegedly used by the applicant.

Mr. Thomas learned counsel for the applicant makes a statement that the applicant has never used nor will ever use the photograph in future.

The statement made on behalf of the applicant is recorded. 8.
